Shiloh is a collaboration between Electronic producer Daktyl and singer-songwriter JJ Draper of Arbour. Despite growing up just twenty minutes away from one another in the countryside of the midlands and sharing many mutual friends, it was only when Daktyl approached JJ about sampling vocals from his debut album Heights that the two spoke about their musical endeavours. After ‘Found’ was complete, they were quick to get together to work on new material, sensing an opportunity to share a passion for music that went beyond and across genres. A sound soon emerged that clearly displayed an eclectic mixture of influences, combining song structure and harmony with beat-driven, experimental electronic accompaniment. The pair completed the 5 track EP Venus Sway after a week of writing and production. It is an album about Time and our relationship with our memories - how we live and relive, revel and regret. Shiloh release Venus Sway on Cosmonostro on 30th June 2014.
